Financial Management is the art of managing an organisation’s resources to bring about operational outcomes. Accurate recording and reliable reporting of financial information are the preconditions for financial management. Public accountability also requires a high degree of accuracy and reliability of financial data. The financial statements of a nonprofit organisation provide a useful overview of the organisation’s fiscal health.
Healthy Non- Profits employ financial management practices that create a solid foundation from which they can create and build a sustainable yet flexible organization. This three course series of half- day workshops will offer participatns an understanding of the key elements of non- profit finance, provide tools for assessing the financial health of their organization, and guide them in creating an implementing a strong financial management framework.
