Ann was educated at Bermuda High School for Girls and received the Outstanding Student Award upon graduation. She then went to Bryant University and received a B.Sc. in Office Administration. After getting into the workforce back in Bermuda, Ann then decided to further her education and received her M.A. in Human Resource Development and Management in 1990 from Webster University.
Ann has worked in the business world all of her working life. Jobs have varied from the exempt business of reinsurance and shipping to the local utility company and then for the past 19 years with Bermuda Red Cross. She initially began her work with the Red Cross as a part-time administrator. Over the years, Ann built the profile and reputation of the Bermuda Red Cross, alongside the volunteer Director, Frank Gamble. In 1999, Frank Gamble stepped down as Director and Ann was asked to fill this position and is one she retains today. In 2002 Ann was appointed a Justice of the Peace. This year, Ann was honoured as one of the 100 Women 100 Visions based on her Economic, Political & Social achievements in the community. Ann is very proud to be a contributing member of the community through her voluntary service to many other organizations.
Ann is married to Robin and has 2 sons, Andrew who is 19 and Ryan who is 15. She has a stepson, Steven and daughter-in-law Lisa as well as 5-year old & 2-year old granddaughters.
