The Centre on Philanthropy's first ever Third Sector conference was an overwhelming success. The nonprofit community and all stakeholders - donors, charities, faith-based organisations, volunteers, and social activists - came together to explore the theme of 'Giving in Partnership', in an effort to create a more cohesive and collaborative sector.
Leading local and international nonprofit professionals gave all attendees an opportunity to be inspired and to gain insight into effective nonprofit strategies including fundraising, communications, board governance, and grant-making. All participants emerged from the conference re-energised, and re-committed to partnering for a Better Bermuda.
Our next conference is scheduled for mid-late February, 2009. We hope to see you there.
