Calling all Donors!

Join The Centre on Philanthropy now! As members, we will find more ways to work together. We will find new ways to give. We will explore new ways to ensure that our gifts are being used appropriately and effectively. We will research important social issues and collectively determine how to solve them. As partners we will make a difference in our community!

As members, you will gain the following benefits:

  • Access to the Resource Centre—Sponsored by Bank of Bermuda Foundation, The Centre houses an onsite Resource Centre with tools and information for individuals, donors and nonprofits.
  • Training and Education—The Centre has a progressive curriculum of training courses focused on key areas identified by stakeholders.  Members will receive a discounted fee.  For more information please contact Danielle.
  • Access to personal advice—The Centre provides opportunity for personal development with the Third Sector Careers programme, Moving to Giving, participation in Community Volunteer Days and consultation with Centre staff.
  • Centre Networking Events—Members of The Centre will be invited to periodic member-only networking events, brining together all stakeholders of The Centre to discuss issues in common and to learn from each other. 
  • Discount for Conference—In February 2011, The Centre on Philanthropy will host Bermuda’s only Third Sector Conference for non-profits, donors, individual philanthropists, youth and volunteers.  Members will receive a discount on registration fees.
  • ‘Giving’ Insert—The Centre issues a quarterly Third Sector newspaper supplement aimed at educating the community about philanthropy.  If you have a story to share please contact Kristin.
  • Influence and access to research—Research results are available at no charge to members.  For more information please contact Pam.
  • Access/Voice within Government—The Centre actively seeks audiences with the appropriate Government departments to address issues of concern to our members and stakeholders.
