Give Back Games
"Compete to Give, Everyone Wins"
In 2008 Jacques Boneau of ACE Tempest Re asked The Centre for assistance in creating a competitive event with a philanthropic twist … the Give Back Games were born as beach Olympics for charity. The Games were such a success that Mr. Boneau suggested they be expanded to include other companies... so they were.
Now an annual competition, the Give Back Games, features corporate teams from some of Bermuda’s leading international companies competing to raise money for the charity of their choice. Events include a Sea Kayak Race, a Flipper Relay and a highly competitive Sand Sculpture! As a corporate team-building event the Games are fun, healthy and rewarding. For the charities, who participate by designing and overseeing the games, it is an opportunity to meet and connect with members of the corporate community.
