Centre-facilitated Community Days

Centre-facilitated Community Days enable employees from our corporate member companies to volunteer as a group in a day of service to the community. As part of our ENGAGE programme, The Centre organises three Community Days per year. 

For each Day our nonprofit members are invited to submit projects which are suitable for a group of volunteers, to work as a team, and that must be achievable within one day (or half day). Examples of past projects include assisting The Salvation Army with their Christmas hamper appeal, by sorting toys, packing hampers, and helping to coordinate their collection. On another occasion, corporate volunteers spent time with residents of seniors’ homes for an afternoon of social activities such as games, reading, music and afternoon tea.

The Centre also offers custom Community Days for our corporate members that are categorised by their annual membership fee of $2500 and over.
