Brian Dupperreault officially handed the reigns to Bermudian Brian Madeiros after five years as the Chair of The Centre on Philanthropy.
Mr. Madeiros, who assumed the position on July 1 of this year paid tribute to Mr. Duppereault’s five years at the helm, citing his valuable contributions not only to the The Centre but to Bermuda’s charitable sector as a whole - particularly in the areas of governance and volunteerism.
Mr. Duppereault will now assume the position of Chair Emeritus in the newly created class of Directors Emeritus, of which The Centre’s founder Cummings Zuill is also a member.
Monday's AGM also saw Matt Ambrose, Barbara Bufkin and Amanda Outerbridge elected to the Board as Class Three Directors.
